I love GIMP. Absolutely great, except I'm still trying to figure out how to make my own brushes. Ahem. Pinup #2 It's actually #3, but #1 is really old.

Whoa. That 3rd picture is almost making me regret I'm a bird and not a human.

No art from me for a while. I'm in police school for a month so I won't be drawing. Tirrah!

Well, I decided to ditch my current Mal attempt, since it kinda went wrong (despite the face coming out nicely). And now I'm re-doing him, twice, as well as a few more. I've got the armatures posed: Mal 1 pose, referenceMal 2 pose, referenceZoe 1 pose, reference (had to replace the foot on our right) Zoe 2 pose, referenceTracey pose, referenceBendis pose, referenceObservant Firefly fans will notice the distinct Browncoat theme coming through here. I'd have liked to get some of the generic Independent troops started too (and maybe some Alliance), but I ran out of armatures! (getting more soon). Any early criticisms would be appreciated, bearing in mind these are just the poses... I haven't actually started fleshing them out yet. I intend to replace the heads and hands as I go along, so don't dwell on how wrong those parts may look.

I've had some time to create a little something, but I'm not so happy with it. Something's wrong and I'm not sure what. Hellcat

Looks like the hind legs are a wee bit stubby, especially the one on the left. The angle seems a bit odd. And the front right paw should maybe point inwards a bit more. And I think there's something a teeny bit off about the back of the head/neck. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

Stormy, that Hellcat looks great. Vicious as well, I quite like what you've done there. I would agree with eek though, about the hind legs mostly I think. I think the front paws look good, but the hind legs bending like the front ones do also, but overall I'm not too sure as that does give it the odd, demonic look. Overall, I think you've done really good there.

Hmmm. Thanks for the advice, y'all, but I think I'm going to drop that effort. It's frustrating and drawing shouldn't be

Bit of a shame, but sometimes that's best... especially if it feels like a chore fixing it.

uh, do unfinished 3D models count as art ? If so, here's something. Still untextured & unnamed.

Finally finished something I had been working on for a while. Too bad that when I saved it it turned black and white. Nate Robinson

Hehe, that's awesome Iguess... does the guy really jump that high IRL ? If so, that's fantastic Anyway, the blade is done. Since I'm too lazy to experiment with 100 dif. textures I've decided to go with the all-black thing, including the blade and the handle. The small knot in the middle is done with golden engraving... here it is.edit: retextured & saved for second [and last] time

Hehe, that's awesome Iguess... does the guy really jump that high IRL ? If so, that's fantastic Nate Robinson is only 5'9 and won the dunk contest last year. So yeah, he really odes jump that high. The guy he is jumping over is Spud Webb who won the dunk contest in 1786. He was 5'7 at the time. So it was pretty epic watching it. Just for fun, this is Spud Webb's winning dunk.

Is it a root ? Is it a tree ? Is it some tribalistic, chaotic evil vision, induced by mind-numbing in that cop school of yours
