Hmm... yeah, I'll have to add more hair, methinks. I reckon a little more hair would add to the appearance a little, and help with the proportion of the head there. Still, looking wonder, eek! Well, I just got into my newest piece here of a black dragon this time, in which I'll try a complete picture with a background and all. It's still in the very early stages, and probably won't be finished for a few more days yet. I'm planning on adding a noxious swamp with dead/decaying trees and foliage, to make thre creature more at home. Any criticism is welcome, please.

Thanks sweetie! Yeah, a little hair should do the trick. I'd have done it tonight if I wasn't so exhausted when I came in, but I'll finish him off tomorrow hopefully, and give an update on Mal too. Oooh, very lovely! I'm not really the greatest of art critics but nothing strikes me as being wrong with it so far. Keep it up!

I'm a little behind on things. EG did you finish the Nebula dragonthingly yet? And if you did, have you started on a background for it?

eek@: Aye the hair will help a little, but it's usually best to wait until you're relaxed and settled down to do things. Best to just leave for a while if you're really that exhausted, and go mad when you feel inspiration! Oh, thanks very much, guys! It still looks quite basic at the moment, but it should look better once everything has been finished and polished over in the end. I'm still displeased about the paw and the tail, so I'll have a go at editing that before colouring in. Once again, thank you very much! iGuess@: I finished the Nebula Wyvern, but my Paint Shop Pro 9 isn't working especially well at the moment and keeps having these errors while working, so I need to get that sorted out before I can resume with putting a background down for the Nebula Wyvern. I thought about colouring one in, but if PP9 doesn't sort itself out soon, then that is what I'll have to do. I'm still looking around for photoshop though.

Photoshop's kinda expensive, unless you use less-than-legal means. Or unless you get it free with something lke I did.

eek: Ooh, nice update on your sculptures, eek! They're getting better and better each time, and the newest edition of Jayne looks promising. Mal's certainly coming along nicely too, and I can't wait to see him when he's done. Excellent work, they both look incredible! iGuess: I couldn't help but roffle at your newest edition. I don't know who that guy is, but the effect you added for him while in that pose looks excellent! The fire effect for his chest looks pretty nice, and overall, you've created a funky picture. I really like it, and your photoshop (is it photoshop?) skills are radical. ;D Stormy: Wonderful new editions, Stormy! I'm pleased to see the Necromistress is finished, she looks incredible and the undead horse looks great too. I like your style of using pencils for a black and white effect, and then using only one or two colours afterwards too. The Dracolich is one of my favourites though, that's a pretty intimidating creature you've created there. The green fire and effects makes the creature look extra menacing and deathly. You've made Tifa Lockheart look absolutely beautiful, and your ability of drawing people and their features with that much detail is stunning. I really wish I could draw like that. Excellent work, Stormy! P.S: I think I'll still keep your Bullhound avatar though, I've gotten pretty fond of it lately. I like your new ones, but the Bullhound is just so cool...

Also, the fire in his chest is like a red, smaller picture of his chest.

This is at least slightly on topic - does anyone know any safe and free art programs? My MS Paint disappeared.

Gimpshop works well. Or The GIMP, if you don't want the photoshopesque interface.
