I'm back at school again... the connection speed is blazing fast but only until you've downloaded like 500 Mb then it drops to near dial up speed  the drop in connection speed often kills any downloads that are currently running and it really pisses me off Is there any way to get around a network bandwidth limit that doesn't take hacking skillz? |

Bittorrent might work, but to be truthful, I have no idea. I dont tend to download things over 500mb too often, and my internet is never fast enough to make me care if there was a limit.  |

 I found out that they actually changed the limit last year it was 1gig now its 2 so I can actually download a whole movie in a day without incurring the limit but it really does piss me off when I'm just downloading updates |

Be happy with what you've got.
My ISP shuts down my internet every hour or so because I indulge in utorrent.

last year I'd be awake for an hour and already be screwed for the day... haven't installed bittorrent yet this semester so I'm doin good so far |
