If it's a Dos game (I don't recall if it is or not) you can always use try DosBox. Either that or try going to the properties of the Exe, selecting the Compatability tab and choosing Win 95.

I think it is a win 95 game, I dont know what type of system it is, but if its old enough you could boot it into dos, ah the good ol days of 3.1. For some reason, it runs fine on xp.

Probably your best bet would be to search google and see if you can find a guide to do it.

Wait, what are the specs of the PC you're trying to play it on? CPU and OS is all I need to know.

bnk file? You mean a bink file? Do you have rad gaming tools installed. If you do, try uninstalling it. RAD installs a global bink player codec.

What graphics card do you have? If you have a new one (Geforce 6 and better) then you are going to experience problems with games that make use of 8-bit paletted textures. Hardware paletted textures in DirectDraw, Direct3D and OpenGL have been scrapped by GPU makers.

All the 2d c&c games use 256 color 8 bit palleted textures. I have noticed black dash artifacts in red alert 2, but that could just be my card's (or my own for overclocking) fault for overheating to a damaging point.

Modern video cards *may* or may not possess a problem to the 2D C&C games. Especially with newer drivers. I think forceware 77.77 is the last driver to support some of the older things like 8bit textures and DirectX 6 thru 7.
